Once you have made a reservation, we will send you an email confirming your booking and another email a week before arrival with everything you need to know about your upcoming stay and links to book dining, swimming (if applicable) as well as options to enhance your stay.

Hotel guests can digitally check in and check out via The Celtic Collection app. Hotel guests will also receive an email on the day of their arrival with links to check in and check out.

Digital check in and check out is not available for guests staying at our Hunter Lodges, please instead visit the Resort Hotel frontdesk on arrival.

Guests are welcome to book sessions for the following:-

• 2 x 45 minute swim session per person, per night. These can be booked as two separate sessions of 45 minutes across the length of your stay, or combined to one 90 minute session.

Hotel guests will receive an email before arrival with a booking link to reserve their swim session.

Locker allocation is limited and we ask guests to arrive pool ready max. 5 minutes ahead of each session. Each session is inclusive of changing times.

There are no time restrictions in place or pre-booking required for use of the gym facilities at Forum Health Club or Dylans Health Club.

Rates & Prices

All prices are quoted in British Sterling and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at at the prevailing rate. In the event the rate of tax changes, this will be automatically reflected in the price charged.

Rates shown are lowest available, based on two adults sharing a standard twin/double room. Bookings are subject to availability. Prices will vary depending on day and accommodation type selected.

During your visit, contactless payment can be made via card or our mobile app. Please note that we do not accept cash or cheque payments.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and check-out on the day of departure is at 11.00am.

The credit/debit card used for booking is required at check in. Please note that check-in will not be permitted without a valid credit card or debit card. On arrival all guests will be required to provide a valid credit card or debit card to guarantee room payment (if not prepaid) as well as extras/incidentals. This card will be utilised to administer a pre-authorisation charge of £50 per room per night, plus the value of any outstanding accommodation for the duration of your visit.

Occasionally, we may be able to accommodate an earlier check in, but this is subject to availability on the day and cannot be assured in advance. Late departures are by prior arrangement, subject to availability and may attract an additional premium.

Guests wishing to drop off their luggage before their room is ready may do so with the reception desk.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible Rates: The hotel’s standard cancellation policy requires that any cancellation or amendment to a flexible reservation must be received at least 7 days before arrival for Celtic Manor Resort accommodation bookings, and at least 48 hours before arrival for other properties, in order to avoid a penalty charge. In the event the hotel is notified any later than this, a charge equivalent to the rate for the first night of the stay will be due. In the event of non-arrival the full rate, or first nights’ accommodation will be charged.

Prepaid Rates: Reservations made on an advance purchase rate (where the payment for the stay is required at time of booking) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please refer to your booking confirmation for details of the cancellation policy which applies to your booking.

Please note that group bookings are subject to different terms and conditions, which are detailed in the group contract.

Children

Celtic Manor Resort is a child-friendly hotel group and welcomes children of all ages. A range of family room types are also available to purchase should you wish to enjoy more space.

Family room prices are based on two adults and two children up to the age of 13 sharing, and includes breakfast for both adults and children (breakfast not included for room only bookings)

The following policy applies to all areas of the hotel, all employees and guests either resident or non-resident. This policy is implemented to ensure that Celtic Manor Resort is demonstrating due diligence in achieving part 4 of the Licensing objectives; “the protection of children from harm” as stated in the Licensing Act 2003.

• Children under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by an adult at all times in our licensed venues.
• For the purpose of this policy, the definition of accompanied is; to chaperone and continually supervise from a close distance. For example: sitting at a table with them.
• After 9.00pm, the Duty Manager reserves the right to ask children to vacate the public bars if this is deemed appropriate to the business. If there are children behaving in a particular manner and affecting the experience of our other guests the Duty Manager may decide to exercise this right.
• Children under the age of 16 years old are not permitted in any of our licensed venues after 11pm even when accompanied by an adult (except when attending a private function).
• At no time are children allowed to sit or stand at the bar unless the accompanying adult is waiting to be served.
• ‘Home Alone’ – No child residents under the age of 14 should be left alone in your family bedroom. Your children remain the sole responsibility of you as guardian or parent.
• We do not offer a babysitting service.

Gift Vouchers

Payment by gift voucher is only accepted if the physical gift voucher is presented upon arrival. Vouchers are redeemable from the date of purchase until the outlined expiry date.

*Excludes Steak on Six where tables are restricted to a maximum of 6 guests.

Restaurants & Bars
Please be aware that children under the age of 16 are not permitted in any of our restaurants, lounges or bars unless accompanied by a dining adult.

Please note Steak on Six welcomes diners from 16 years (or from 12 years for Sunday Lunch only)

Dining Reservations
We would respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation. Your reservation will be held for 15 minutes, after which time it may be released to other guests. Please be advised that during busy periods tables may be required more than once during service. Your allocated dining time will be based on your reservation time and number of guests and will be advised to you at the time of booking.

Special Dietary Requirements
It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the point of booking, please contact the restaurant to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.

Dinner Inclusive Packages
When booking a dinner inclusive package for your stay, each adult will receive an allocation to use towards restaurant dining. Restaurant dining reservations are subject to availability. Any unused dinner allocation is non-refundable and non-transferable. The allocation can be used towards dinner only, between 5.30pm and 10.30pm. The allocation cannot be used towards drinks.

Dress Codes
Dress codes apply to the following Resort Hotel restaurants:

Steak on Six – Guests are required to wear smart casual clothing when dining at Steak on Six including breakfast and entry will be refused if this is not adhered to. Smart denim is allowed, but ripped denim, shorts*, sports trainers, flip flops, Baseball hats rugby or football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted. *Tailored shorts are permitted at breakfast during summer months from June to September.

Rafters – Guests are required to wear smart casual clothing when dining at Rafters and entry will be refused if this is not adhered to. Whilst smart denim is perfectly acceptable, sports trainers, flip flops, baseball caps, rugby or football shirts, and tracksuits are not permitted. Shorts are not permitted after 5.00pm.

Cancellation policy
Card details are required on booking and are held as a guarantee. If you need to cancel your booking, please use the link in your booking confirmation email. If you do not cancel 24 hours prior to arrival your card will be charged £20 per person.

Selected special dining events require full payment at the time of booking, and these payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Children Menus
Where available, a special children’s menu will be offered to young diners aged 2 – 12 years. Alternatively we offer smaller portions of selected dishes from the full a la carte menu.

Dietary Requirements

Deposits
In the instance you have prepaid a deposit for your dining reservation, then this will be used against the final payment of your bill. All deposit payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable, this payment is based on the total number of guests in your party at the time of reservation. Should the number of guests in your party decrease, we regret that individual payments cannot be refunded or credited against your final bill. Credit Card Guarantee – Credit card details will be used to secure your reservation, a non-arrival payment of £20 per person will be taken from this card in the event that you do not arrive for your booking. Cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation will also incur a cancellation fee of £20 per person.

Booking a spa day is definitely something to feel excited about. It’s a little bit of you time where you can completely unwind, relax and re-energise. However, if it is your first time visiting a spa and you’re not sure what to expect, nerves can easily take over and get the better of you. That’s why we’ve put together our five top spa tips to prepare you for the most perfect spa day. Follow these and we promise your experience will be one you won’t forget – you’ll want to book your next visit straight away!

1 – Digital Detox
Clear your calendar and clear your mind – to fully asorb the effects of your treatment you need to schedule some serious time out and prepare to feel super relaxed

2 – Arrive Early
Make sure your alarm’s set and arrive at the spa with plenty of time to spare. Cutting it fine can make you feel stressed and will set the tone for your day ahead, so make sure you give yourself some time to relax beforehand.

3 – What to Wear
It’s up to you what you wear on arrival. A dressing gown and slippers will be provided, so all you need to pack is something to wear underneath. Swimwear is usually the best option, or disposable underwear can be provided.

4 – Drink Plenty
During your time at the spa it’s important to remember to keep topped up on liquids. Drinking plenty of water will help flush out the toxins released during your treatment – doing nothing can be thirsty work!

5 – Say How Your Feel
For most first timers, visiting the spa can be a daunting experience. But don’t worry, our staff are completely focused on making your first time the best it can be. So if something is on your mind, tell your therapist; they’re there to help.

Spa Reservations
We welcome individual guests and groups of all sizes at The Forum Spa. It is essential to pre-book spa treatments to avoid disappointment. To make an appointment, please contact the Reservations Team on 01633 410262 and we would be delighted to discuss your requirements. Facilities
You have full use of our facilities when booking a spa experience day only. Please note, there are separate male and female jacuzzis and steam rooms located in the changing rooms.

Individual: Bookings and Cancellation Policy
All treatments require full pre-payment at time of booking. Individuals who wish to change or cancel an appointment must provide 7 days notice in order for the pre-payment to be refunded. A 7 day cancellation policy applies to all valid spa vouchers, otherwise the voucher will become void.

Groups: Bookings and Cancellation Policy
A group booking for between 6 and 24 people will be held provisionally for 14 days. A booking form will be sent to the group leader to provide the names and treatments for each individual in the group. Full pre-payment is required within 14 days of making the reservation otherwise the booking will automatically be released. Once payment has been received the booking is non refundable and non transferable. Changes to names and treatments can be made up to 7 days prior to arrival, subject to availability. For groups on a residential spa package, up to 9 rooms, a 7 day cancellation policy applies, plus all the above terms. If your treatments form part of a larger booking which is contracted, please refer to the specific terms and conditions on your contract.

Health Conditions
If you have any medical conditions, are pregnant or breast feeding or have any allergies, injuries, skin complaints or infections, please discuss with your spa therapist (and doctor where necessary) prior to making your booking as this may influence your treatment options. A full consultation will be held prior to your treatment in which all medical conditions will be discussed. If this highlights you are taking any medication, have a medical condition, any injuries or special requirements that were not discussed at the time of booking, this could possibly lead to the treatment being adapted, changed or cancelled. Treatments not suitable during pregnancy and/or whilst breast feeding.

Spa Etiquette
We ask that you always allow enough time for your experience and arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment so we can record your current spa needs and details, offer you a refreshment and the opportunity to rest in the relaxation area.

Please note that as a courtesy to all our clients a prompt appointment schedule is adhered to, late appointments may not be honoured and no discount or refund given. Treatments that start late will still finish at the appointed time, so other guests are not inconvenienced.

In the changing facilities you will find lockers for your personal effects. Please take care of your valuables, as we cannot take liability for their loss.

A robe, towel and slippers will be provided for you as required, as part of all spa experience days. Residents are welcome to arrive in the robe and slippers from their bedroom. Please wear undergarments or dry swimwear during your treatment. We can also provide disposable underwear if required and our therapists will ensure that you are modestly covered with towels at all times.

At the end of your treatment you will have time to change and prepare yourself to rejoin the world, totally relaxed and at peace with your inner and outer being. Please note that mobile phones must be switched off at all times within the spa.

The minimum age for treatments is 16 years. We cannot accommodate babies and children in the treatment rooms or the relaxation areas. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied in the spa at all times by a supervising adult over the age of 18 years. One adult may supervise a maximum of two guests under 18 years.

Please be advised, we have male and female therapists.

Nail Treatments
Guests are advised to arrive to their nail treatment with clear nails or have a removal treatment booked prior. Please note we cannot remove acrylic or BIAB.

Adult Only Swim Times
We aim to balance our family friendly environment with a tranquil and relaxing experience for our members and guests, by providing dedicated adult only swim times at The Forum Pool.

Treatment Prices
Treatment prices are subject to change without notice and are inclusive of VAT.

Health and Safety
If you suffer from high blood pressure, have recently been unwell or believe you may be pregnant you should not use the saunas, steam rooms, spa bath or any heat-based treatments such as the Forum Herbal Steam Temple. If using the gym, please ask a member of the team to show you how to use the gym equipment.

Terms and Conditions

• Treatments for all spa days cannot be exchanged or shared with another person
• All treatments included on the spa day experiences are subject to availability
• Itinerary timings may be subject to change without notice

Arrival
Please check-in at the activity location at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your activity.

Upon arrival you may be asked to complete a disclaimer form for your activities.   Any concerns not disclosed at the booking stage may result in your activity being cancelled.

A full briefing will be held prior to your activity in which all medical conditions/restrictions will be discussed. If this highlights you are unable to participate in the activity that were not discussed at the time of booking, this could possibly lead to the activity being adapted, changed or cancelled.

What to Wear
Please dress accordingly for indoor and outdoor activities, for outdoor activities we recommend you dress according to the weather. Please note outdoor activities will still take place in the case of rain, we recommend you wear warm and waterproof clothing. In the case of dangerous conditions (high winds, thunder & lightening) you will be given a voucher to come back on an alternative day to complete the activity.

Secure appropriate footwear must be worn. This is to include soles with good grips, closed toes and no heels should be worn to ensure your safety.

Bookings
You may change or cancel your activity booking free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival. Changes or cancellations made less than this unfortunately cannot be refunded.

Restrictions
We class a child as being 15 years or under. All Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult during the activity. Children will not be admitted to the Activity unless accompanied by an adult.

All golf courses and academy facilities are open to members, visitors and hotel guests.

The Celtic Manor Resort courses are all of championship standard and we kindly ask you to adhere to the following conditions of play.

Standard of Golf
Whilst we do not require handicap certificates, all courses are of Championship standard and we therefore request that all players are of a competent ability and respect other golfers abilities.

The Celtic Manor Resort reserves the right to remove golfers from the course who are not deemed to be of a competent ability or who fail to abide by the conditions of play.

Tee Times
You are expected to arrive on the tee 10 minutes prior to your tee time on The Roman Road or Montgomerie courses and 1 hour prior on The Twenty Ten course.

Pace of Play Guidelines
All of our courses carry pace of play guidelines, these are detailed on the individual scorecard for each course. Our team of Course Marshals will monitor the pace of play and ensure guidelines are adhered to through various measures of enforcement.

Pairing Up Policy
To ensure that there is a consistent speed of play, The Celtic Manor Resort reserves the right to pair up golfers as required to assist with the management of these guidelines.

Dress Code
The following is considered appropriate attire for the Golf Courses:

• Collared or turtle neck shirts with sleeves
• Full length trousers
• Tailored shorts with sports socks
• Ladies may wear golf skirts, mid-length trousers and sleeveless shirts
• Golf shoes must be worn

Should a member of your group be inappropriately dressed, we will refuse them access to the golf courses

Buggies
Buggies may only be driven by those over the age of 18 years. Buggies MUST be kept to the paths at all times.
